Marek Kozák
Marek Kozák (geb. 1993) ist Preisträger des „Prague Spring International Music Competition“ und Halbfinalist des Internationalen Fryderyk Chopin Klavier Wettbewerbs in Warschau. Derzeit studiert er bei Ivan Klánský an der Akademie der Darstellenden Künste in Prag.
Sein außerordentliches Talent zeigte sich bereits in der Grundschule in Brušperk, worauf sich ein Besuch des Janacek Konservatorium in Ostrava mit Klavierunterricht bei Monika Tugendliebová und Orgelstudien bei Martina Zelová anschloss. Während seiner Zeit in Ostrava gewann er den Tschechischen Konservatoriumswettbewerb in Pardubice, erhielt den Preis für die beste Aufführung eines Beethovenwerkes beim Beethoven Wettbewerb in Hradec und wurde zum Gewinner des Piano Wettbewerbes in Brno gekürt. Er besuchte zahlreiche Meisterkurse bei weltbekannten Klaviervirtuosen, wie M. Perahia, G. Ohlsson, E. Indjic und vielen anderen. Des Weiteren wurde Marek Kozák Erster beim Internationalen Fryderyk Chopin Klavierwettbewerb 2013 in Mariánské Lázně und Dritter beim Internationalen Fryderyk Chopin Klavierwettbewerb in Darmstadt und gewann den ersten Preis beim Internationalen Smetana Klavier Wettbewerb in Plzeň. Er spielte mit führenden tschechischen Orchestern, wie der Janáček Philharmonie Ostrava, der Moravian Philharmonie, der Philharmonie Brno, der Kammerphilharmonie Pardubice, dem Prager Symphonieorchester FOK und der Hradec Králové Philharmonie und trat auch im Ausland auf. Im letzten Jahr bekam er beim Prague Spring International Music Competition eine Auszeichnung für seine Interpretation des zeitgenössischen Stücks „The Jongleur“ von Adam Skoumal.
Laureát mezinárodního hudebního festivalu Pražské jaro a semifinalista Mezinárodní klavírní soutěže Fryderyka Chopina ve Varšavě, Marek Kozák (narozen r. 1993), v současné době studuje na AMU pod vedením Ivana Klánského. Svůj neobyčejný talent projevil již na Základní umělecké škole v Brušperku, načež studoval na Janáčkově konzervatoři v Ostravě (hru na klavír u Moniky Tugendliebové a hru na varhany u Martiny Zelové). V průběhu svého ostravského studia vyhrál Soutěž konzervatoří v Pardubicích, obdržel cenu za nejlepší interpretaci Beethovena na soutěži Beethovenův Hradec a byl vyhlášen celkovým vítězem Brněnské klavírní soutěže. Zúčastnil se několika speciálních lekcí, vedených světoznámými klavírními virtuosy (M. Perahia, G. Ohlsson, E. Indjic a dalšími). Roku 2013 vyhrál Mezinárodní klavírní soutěž Fryderyka Chopina v Mariánských Lázních, v téže soutěži konané v Darmstadtu se umístil na třetím místě, první místo obsadil na Mezinárodní smetanovské klavírní soutěži v Plzni. Působil u předních českých orchestrů, včetně Janáčkovy filharmonie Ostrava, Moravské filharmonie Olomouc, Filharmonie Brno, Komorní filharmonie Pardubice, Symfonického orchestru hlavního města Prahy FOK a Filharmonie Hradec Králové. Vystupuje také v zahraničí. Na loňském Pražském jaru získal ocenění za interpretaci skladby Kejklíř od Adama Skoumala.
A laureate of the Prague Spring International Music Competition and semi-finalist of the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Marek Kozák (b. 1993) is currently studying under the guidance of Ivan Klánský at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He showed his extraordinary talent while still attending the Primary Music School in Brušperk, following which he studied at the Janacek Conservatory and Grammar School in Ostrava (the piano with Monika Tugendliebová and the organ with Martina Zelová). While in Ostrava, he won the Czech Conservatories Competition in Pardubice, received a prize for the best performance of a Beethoven work at the Beethoven Hradec competition, and was announced overal winer of the Brno Piano Competition. He has attended numerous master claases led by world – renowned piano virtuosos (M. Perahia, G. Ohlsson, E. Indjic and many others). Furthermore, Marek Kozák came first at the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano competition 2013 in Mariánské Lázně and third at the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Darmstadt, and won first prize at the Smetana International Piano Competition in Plzeň. He has performed with leading Czech orchestras, including the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, the Moravian Philharmonic, the Brno Philharmonic, the Chamber Philharmonic Pardubice, the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK and the Hradec Králové Philharmonic, and has appeared at a number of concerst abroad. At last year’s Prague Spring International Music Competition, he received an award for his performance of Adam Skoumal’s contemporary piece The Jongleur.
