Jaroslav Kubita
Jaroslav Kubita studierte am Prager Konservatorium und an der Prager Akademie für Darstellende Künste. 1984-96 war er beim staatlichen Opernorchester in Prag und dem Prager Radio-Symphonieorchester als erster Fagottist engagiert. Seit 1996 ist er Mitglied der Tschechischen Philharmonie, seit 2003 als erster Fagottist. Bereits vor Beendigung seines Studiums machte Jaroslav Kubita mit zahlreichen Wettbewerbserfolgen auf sich aufmerksam. Zu nennen sind erste Preise im „Prague Spring“ Wettbewerb 1991 und im polnischen Leszno-Wettbewerb 1988. Zudem war er Preisträger im C.M. von Weber- Wettbewerben in München (1987) und beim Wettbewerb der International Double Reed Society in Manchester (1989). Als Solist tritt er sowohl im seiner Heimat, als auch im Ausland auf.
Jaroslav Kubita ist Mitglied der Kammermusik-Ensembles Modo Camerale, Prager Barock-Ensemble und „Czech Wind Harmony“. Seit 2009 ist er Dozent für Fagott an der Janáček Akademie für darstellende Künste in Brno.
Jaroslav Kubita studoval na Pražské konzervatoři, poté na pražské AMU. V letech 1984-96 působil jako hlavní fagotista v Národním divadle a v Symfonickém orchestru Českého rozhlasu v Praze.
Členem České filharmonie je od roku 1996, jejím sólofagotistou od roku 2003.
Jeho kariéra započala dříve, než dokončil studia, díky úspěchům v soutěžích, kterými na sebe přitáhl pozornost. Patří k nim například první cena na festivalu Pražské jaro roku 1991 nebo v polském Lesznu z roku 1988. Je laureátem soutěží C.M. von Webera v Mnichově (1987) a IDRS v Manchesteru (1989). Jakožto sólista vystupuje pravidelně jak v Čechách, tak v zahraničí.
Jaroslav je členem komorních souborů In Modo Camerale, Pražský barokní soubor a Česká dechová harmonie. Od roku 2009 je pedagogem hry na fagot na JAMU v Brně.
Jaroslav Kubita studied at the Prague Conservatory and the Prague Academy of Performing Arts. From 1984-96 Jaroslav was professionally engaged as principal bassoonist in the State Opera Orchestra in Prague and in the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. Since 1996 he has been a member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra (since 2003 principal bassoonist).
Jaroslav´s performing career took off even before he had finished his studies with several competition succeses drawing him to attention of the public eye. These include first prizes in the 1991 „Prague Spring“ competition and 1988 Polish Leszno competition. He was also a prize winner in competitions C.M. von Weber in Munich (1987) and IDRS in Manchester (1989). As a soloist he performs regularly both at home and abroad.
Jaroslav is a member of the chamber ensembles In Modo Camerale, Prague Barock Ensemble and Czech Wind Harmony. Since 2009 he is a bassoon teacher at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno.
