Hartmut Schill
Hartmut Schill wurde 1971 in Leipzig als Sohn einer Musikerfamilie geboren. Im Alter von fünf Jahren begann er mit dem Violinspiel. Er besuchte die Spezialschule für Musik „Hans Eisler“ Berlin und setzte seine Studien später an der gleichnamigen Hochschule in den Fächern
Violine und Streichquartett bei Prof. Eberhard Feltz, sowie Kontrapunkt bei Ludwig Walther fort. Sein Konzertexamen absolvierte er in den Meisterklassen von Prof. Werner Scholz, und Prof. Petru Munteanu. Sein besonderes Interesse gilt der Kammermusik.
Neben der Komposition widmet er sich als Mitglied des „Trio 71“ der Uraufführung zeitgenössischer Musik. Mit dem 1990 gegründeten Schill-Quartett sammelte er auf Kursen bei renommierten Ensembles wertvolle Erfahrungen. Es folgten Rundfunkeinspielungen, sowie Konzerte im In- und Ausland (u.a. in den USA).
Seit 1997 ist Hartmut Schill Erster Konzertmeister der Chemnitzer „Robert-Schumann- Philharmonie“, Primarius des Robert-Schumann-Quartetts und Konzertmeister der sächsischen Kammerphilharmonie. Als Solist und Kammermusiker ist er Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe.

Hartmut Schill se narodil v roce 1971 do hudební rodiny. Ve věku pěti let začal hrát na housle. Navštěvoval speciální hudební školu “Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin” a později pokračoval ve vysokoškolském studiu na stejnojmenné univerzitě v oborech hra na housle a smyčcový kvartet u profesora Eberharda Feltze a kontrapunkt u Ludwiga Walthera. Svou závěrečnou koncertní zkoušku absolvoval v mistrovských třídách profesorů Wernera Scholze a Petru Munteanu. Zvláště se zajímá o komorní hudbu.
Vedle kompozice se věnuje také současné hudbě, je členem hudebního seskupení “Trio 71”. S Schillovým kvartetem (Schill-Quartet) založeným v roce 1990 nasbíral na kurzech u renomovaných souborů cenné zkušenosti. Následovaly rozhlasové nahrávky a koncerty doma i v zahraničí (mimo jiné i v USA).
Od roku 1997 je Hartmut Schill první koncertním mistrem filharmonie Roberta Schumanna v Chemnitz, primáriem kvarteta Roberta Schumanna, a koncertním mistrem Saské komorní filharmonie. Jako sólista a komorní hudebník je nositelem cen z mezinárodních soutěží.
He was born in 1971 to a musical family and started playing the violin aged 5. He went to a special music school named “Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin” and later studied the violin and string quartet music with prof. Ebehard Feltz and the counterpoint with Ludwig Walther at university of the same name. He completed his final concert exam in the master classes of prof. Werner Scholz and Petru Munteanu. He is especially interested in chamber music.
Apart from composition, he is also focused on modern music and is a member of the “Trio 71”. He has gained valuable experience with the Schill Quartet (founded in 1990) at the courses of renowned ensembles. Hartmut has made radio recordings and played concerts both home and abroad (among others the USA).
He has been the first concert master of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic in Chemnitz since 1997; he is also the senior consultant of the Robert Schumann Quartet and a concert master of the Saxon Chamber Philharmonic. He has received international awards as a soloist and chamber musician.
